Stan Romanek and, years ago, Wendelle Stevens, were accused of crimes relating to child abuse. Stevens ended up in a situation where he was tried and convicted without ever seeing his accuser or knowing who she or he was. His lawyer was not allowed to see the accuser or know any details of the crime. He ended up with a choice of 15 years in prison or 5 years if he pleaded guilty. He did so and was out in 2 years, a broken and discredited man.
